Our Vision, mission, and core values
Timely access to innovative health technologies has remained a challenge for people living with chronic debilitating diseases. In countries with high affordability, there could be significant delays in accessing health technologies due to inefficiencies within regulatory and reimbursement pathways, lack of appropriate evidence or simply a lack of willingness to pay on the part of payers.
In other countries that lack affordability, access to new promising technologies is restricted based on an ability to pay rather than clinical unmet need. In resource constrained settings, people who need the innovation most are not necessarily the first one to get it. Our purpose is to improve access to health technologies for all. By improving access and impacting both ability and willingness to pay using innovative financing solutions, we aim to get the innovation to as many and not just some.

Sustainability and value capture for healthcare systems
Navigating the complexities of Health Technology Commercialisation
Commercialisation of health technologies is complex endeavour. Healthcare systems have different priorities, value systems and stakeholder expectations. Often stakeholder views exist in tension. We work to understand the multiple stakeholder views to help develop optimal market access solutions for our clients that balance these views to ensure speedy access to life enhancing technologies at a price that reflects true value of your technology. Value capture in a commercial sense only starts after the product gets onto the market. We work with our clients to build better Go-to-Market strategies that work to accelerate the uptake and achieve business growth faster to help consolidate markets quicker.
Issue of access to health technology is multi-faceted. However, we work with our clients to optimize three key areas – Market Access, Health policy and financing (as an enabler) and Patient Advocacy (as fulcrum for change). Our core capabilities revolve around helping our clients prioritise technologies to commercialise, identify best opportunities, generate targeted evidence for speedy access to markets and achieve higher value capture in shorter timeframes.
Superior value capture
Health Policies and Payer dynamics can impact the size of the opportunity and the ability to capture optimal value for innovation. We work with our clients to help navigate the complex policy environment, develop credible policy asks in an evidence-based manner to help streamline access barriers and improve resource allocation for promising health technologies.
With our deep insights and policy development experience, coupled with external affairs expertise, EVA along with its partners help create political advocacy campaigns that are credible and generate access solutions that are pragmatic and outcome focused.
Driven by patient values
People living with illnesses and their carers need to be central to decision making about access to new innovative technologies that have the potential to improve their quality and quantity of life. Payers have a part to play in ensuring that the health technologies are good investments for taxpayer’s dollars, however payers should not be the sole decision makers in this respect. Societal values, views and aspirations of people living with debilitating illnesses and their carers should have their say in the process for selection of health technology and policies that enable access to these technologies.
At EVA, we believe in empowering people living with illnesses to be able to have a voice in the HTA processes and decision-making by improving their ability to collaborate and contribute meaningfully to the Health Technology Assessments and resource allocation decision making. EVA aims to work with patient advocates and technology companies to bridge the complexity and knowledge gap to empower and enable evidence-based deliberations that are factual, pragmatic, and independent, conveying what matters to people living with those debilitating conditions.
